Did you know that April is Oral Health Month? Well I didn’t either! But now that I know, it got me thinking about how important oral health is, but how we probably all take it for granted – or at least I do!
Hopefully we’re all at least doing the basics by brushing 2x a day but there are definitely other things we could be doing. Have you thought about carrying dental picks or keeping a travel toothbrush handy for those occasional long days out?
And what about the little ones in your life? Are you teaching them the importance of good oral care while they’re young so they can keep up the good habits as adults?

So here’s my confession: I often forget to floss. I tend to do really well flossing daily for awhile, and then I’ll miss a day; and a day becomes two, and before I know it I’m forgetting about it altogether. Then the cycle starts again.
So with April being Oral Health Month I’m going to make it a point to floss every single day – I’ll even set an alarm on my phone to make sure I don’t forget!
