With summer officially just around the corner many of us are looking forward to attending weddings, barbecues and concerts! Have you ever had the thought “this is going to be the BEST summer EVER” and attempted to make so many plans in hopes it would be unbelievably memorable?
Well I love summer just as much as the anyone, but I think it’s always good to keep things in perspective. LOFT has kicked off their first video in a series of “Best Summer Ever” videos created by 3 LA based comediennes spoofing some of the “issues” girls may have when it comes to creating that summer experience.
I don’t know about you but I can definitely relate…there’s been a few questionable parties I’ve found myself at over the years 😉
If you’re a reader of my other site Toronto Beauty Reviews, you may know what a huge LOFT fan I am. I would say a good chunk of my clothing is from LOFT. It appeals to my easy dressing style and just seems to fit my frame and proportions well. I recently went to see what’s out for summer and ended up picking up these two pieces for some events I have coming up.

This jumpsuit is me stepping out of my comfort zone a bit. I’ve always loved the look of the jumpsuit or the romper but could never bring myself to buy one due to the whole “bathroom issue” (you ladies, know what I mean right?). Well, I decided to just go for it with this one and wear it to fancier media events that are shorter than regular parties and just hope that I won’t have to use the facilities 😉
I’m also a sucker for girly dresses so I couldn’t help but pick this one up off the sale rack:

A strapless jumpsuit is awesome! I wore one with a halter style to the Cher concert last year and got compliments like crazy!

I really love that striped dress but I’m not sure it would suit me.

I totally understand the bathroom issue! I have a black jumpsuit that I actually need to replace (the material is starting to pill), so I may have to go to LOFT and get a replacement 🙂

It was hard to narrow it down to this one – all the dresses were so cute!

I was recently at Loft, I love their sales and selection. I tried on a maxi dress but it was too long for my petite frame so if they had a maxi dress in my size I would definitely get one. Otherwise I also love their sweaters too!
Make sure to ask about petite sizing! I have a maxi dress and maxi skirt from there in petites and didn’t need to hem at all – it was a miracle 😛
