{Lowe and Simone}

While I don’t feel I’m very creative, I’ve managed to surround myself with extremely talented and creative people. We can chalk it up to ‘opposites attract’, but whatever it is, I’m blessed to have these amazing people in my life! Although I can’t help with the creative process, I can certainly lend my hand to the business and social media side of their work. This coming Saturday, February 20th I’ll be helping to showcase the incredible accessories of Lowe + Simone.

Local designer, (and my close friend!) Stephanie Daga started online etsy shop Lowe and Simone this summer and has already had huge success! Many of her unique leather harnesses have been purchased throughout Canada and in the US too; custom designs are a popular option among many of her clients but she has decided to bring her most popular designs of harnesses, turbans and scarves offline to be purchased at the Trinity Bellwoods Flea.

The Trinity Bellwoods Flea is a locally loved event in Toronto that features a line up of art, food, beauty and fashion all handmade from neighborhood vendors. If you’re free on February 20th drop by from 11am – 6pm to shop 30 amazing local businesses, listen to tunes from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s (right up my alley!), and taste some delicious food. It’s a great day out for the whole family! I absolutely love discovering new and local talent – there are so many creative people right in our own neighborhood. I love this new take on the weekend flea market, which use to be all about just really cheap and poor quality goods. While I’ll be working the event showing off my own custom harness, I’ll be sure to take a few moments to peruse some of the other booths too!
