At this time of year everyone is scrambling trying to find the perfect gift for the people in their lives. In my family, we only shop for the the kiddies now but every so often I’ll stumble upon an item that I think would make the PERFECT gift for one of the adults!
In case you’re still busy looking I’m putting together a list of gift ideas for all the grown-ups!
Gift Ideas For Grown Ups!
The Tech Lover
Now, I’m not going to pretend to be the most up to date with the latest tech trends, but I do know that almost every tech lover (and really, just about everyone on your list) needs a compact set of ear buds.

Happy Plugs earbuds are not only very functional but look very cool too. They come in all sorts of colours (I have them in rose gold) and I actually keep the plastic box it comes in so they can be stored neatly in my purse.
If you’re really looking to splurge for that tech lover on your list then I’d highly suggest the phone I use now – the LG G4. The camera on this phone is AMAZING! Read more about my thoughts on the phone if you’re having trouble deciding between brands.
The Photography Lover
While splurging on a new camera as a gift may not be in the cards, perhaps you know someone that just received a new camera and is looking to brush up on their photography skills. How about purchasing some classes from GTA Photography Classes?
I’ve taken a total of 4 photography classes with this company and would highly recommend them. You can read more about my experience in this post. While I still need a lot of practice (practice makes perfect!) I’m looking forward to taking more classes this year…perhaps night photography when it gets a little warmer out!
The Food Lover
I think subscription boxes for food are a brilliant idea. It’s a great way to test out brands (usually local) that you can’t get in your regular grocery store; and if you’re someone that likes to experiment in the kitchen, you can usually get great ideas from these boxes! There’s also something out there for everyone including vegan boxes and wine subscriptions!

Foodie Pages offers many varieties of boxes for every budget. You can even customize the perfect gift box to send out to your loved one, making it extra special and thoughtful! Another great food subscription box for granola lovers is Oatbox. I tested these handcrafted-in-Montreal goodies and they’re the perfect start to the morning.
The Jewelry Lover
Ahhh what girl doesn’t love jewelry? I think a small and trendy necklace or bracelet is the perfect gift for your girlfriends! I always make at least one purchase every year for Christmas gifts from Toronto based accessories company Shop For Jayu.
Most of the pieces are under $60 and there are options for everyone; from statement necklaces to dainty pieces too!
Another great jewelry piece that I recently gifted was the Hair Band Bracelet from Maria Shireen’s Bittersweet line.

The bracelet itself comes in many different finishes (gold, silver rose gold etc), but see that black band detail? That’s a HAIR ELASTIC!! If you’re like me you probably always have a hair elastic on hand for those hair emergencies; the elastics always end up either lost or on my wrist. This is SUCH a stylish way to always be prepared!
The Homebody
Do you know someone that absolutely LOVES to be at home? (I’m raising my hand here…!). If you do, then these cozy “reading socks” from Indigo will be much appreciated!

Of course, besides catching up on TV shows, movies and reading, what else would you do with cozy reading socks on? The latest trend in books are Adult Colouring Books. Have you heard of them?

Apparently these are very relaxing to do and mimics meditation! I haven’t personally tried one yet but many of my friends swear by them!
I also have a TON of great beauty gift ideas for The Beauty Lover on Toronto Beauty Reviews.
I hope I’ve helped you with some of your Christmas shopping lists, especially with gift ideas for the grown ups in your life 😉 What gifts will you be getting your loved ones this year?
I really really want one of those colouring books. I’ve seen lots of people talk about how they’re good for anxiety so I think they’d do me the world of good! xxx
I actually JUST got one as a gift! I’m hoping to try it out over the holidays 🙂
